Terms of Service
These Terms apply to ClearPath Home, provided by ClearPath Solutions and operated by Roy O’Driscoll in Ireland.

By creating an account, an adult confirms that they accept these Terms and have read the Privacy Notice.
1. Adult family service
Accounts are for people aged 18 or over. An adult may organise information about children or other family members only where entitled to do so. The household owner controls invitations and can remove other accounts. Everyone joining a household may see its shared information.
2. Licence
ClearPath grants the account holder a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for private household organisation. The service is licensed, not sold. Users may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, scrape, disrupt or use the service unlawfully, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
3. User content and responsibilities
Users retain ownership of information they enter and give ClearPath the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and display it to authorised household members and to provide requested features. Users are responsible for lawful sharing, accuracy, account security and safe invitation-code handling.
4. AI
AI is optional, requires separate consent and may be inaccurate. Proposed changes are shown for confirmation before saving. AI output is not medical, legal, financial, safeguarding or emergency advice.
5. Availability and backups
ClearPath aims to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Users should periodically use the verified backup function and protect downloaded files. Updates may change, improve or retire features.
6. Suspension, termination and deletion
ClearPath may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or maintain security. Users may stop using the service and delete their accounts. Removing the final household account deletes the shared household record, subject to documented backup propagation and legal-retention requirements.
7. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including Irish and EU consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, ClearPath is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, user-entered inaccuracies, missed reminders, AI errors, insecure user backups or unauthorised access caused by a user sharing credentials or family codes.
8. Intellectual property
The ClearPath Solutions name, logo, application design and original code and content are protected by intellectual-property law. Third-party software, data and services remain subject to their own terms.
9. Changes and law
Material changes will receive a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice or renewed acceptance. These Terms are governed by Irish law without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence.
